The Preset rollout allows you to save and load the parameters of the object.
Simulation settings - the settings regarding the simulation will be saved or loaded
Rendering settings - the settings regarding the final rendering will be saved or loaded
Preview settings - the settings regarding the viewport visualisation will be saved or loaded
