General

This section allows you to control some of the V-Ray user interface within Maya.

Parameters

Add/Remove - add or remove V-Ray specific buttons in the Rendering shelf

 

Render swatches for VRayMtl and V-Ray lights - when enabled V-Ray will render a small preview in the swatches for V-Ray materials and V-Ray Lights

 

Swatch Background - allows you to specify the swatch background when the Use default background check box is disabled
